I always choose this little Arab hide out next to a wh*re house for a shawarma.
If you like kebabs, come here! The bread is thick and like sponge, like a pancake, it's oddly delicious.
This guy gets some real halfwit characters walk into the shop and he will bite back, give no respect, get no respect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carmel Grill does the absolute best wraps, pizza and burgers in town. They are on manners street, so they sometimes get challenging customers. I've seen this for myself. Don't take any notice of bad reviews on here. They guy who runs the place is a well known Wellingron legend. He puts his blood sweat and tears into making the most delicious food. Camil Gril is a must try while on Wellington. High recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was served a chicken shawarma that had live gnats in it. I contacted the business a few days ago directly to give them the time to acknowledge this but no response so I'll just leave my feedback here instead then. Such a shame about this, I'd never been before and went on a recommendation. We stepped into the store and no acknowledgement from the staff which kind of set the tone for the experience then it felt like we had inconvenienced the staff member by even being there and to have it followed up with live insects in my food was less than ideal. Ordinarily I like to give places the opportunity to remedy their issues but the lack of service leaves something to be desired and I'm sure you don't care but I'll not be returning. Just heart breaking working in the industry too and to be hit with such a blatant lack of care for the customer is jarring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Chips and kebab are yummy. Would return, but can't be bothered with the risk of getting in the wrong side of the owner. Last time I was there they got into a huge argument with another customer over being asked to wear gloves. I realised I won't bother returning again as I don't want to risk being one of those customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want pizza from a kebab shop, just go to abrakebabra. the sign outside says $7 for pizza but you come in and it's $10. base was nice, not enough sauce, weird cheap mozzarella sticks and thick raw tomato. the other cheese wasn't fully melted and some mystery sauce on top, so many strange flavours in one that I couldn't even taste it. wouldve been fine if they kept it simple. super weird and not worth it tbh.
