β β β β β So happy that Carmel has a store now. The rugelach was yum. The pita bread with falafel was great and very filling. Coffee was fantastic. Excellent and friendly service. We will be back to try more !

β β β β β The baked goods at Carmel are TO DIE FOR. The Chocolate & halva cake was inhaled by my partner in 2 days and Iβd totally recommend the Ube croissants for anyone who doesnβt like things too sweet.
Moreover, the customer service by Carmel and Tom was impeccable and I felt completely safe getting my goods during lockdown. Canβt wait to try their pitas!!
Edit: finally got to try the pitas and they were delicious! Super fresh and tasty. Try it with the pickled mango sauce if youβre adventurous! You wonβt regret it!

β β β β β Beautiful soft pita bread with delicious filling of chicken and crispy falafel. A very popular spot, a few tables inside to dine in.

β β β β β Amazing food! As close as to Middle East you can get. One of kind food! Rugelach was divine!
Falafel pita was great. Crispy green falafel and fluffy in the inside, with sour pickles, great spices and topped with Amba!
You won't find any better in Auckland!

β β β β β Brought some of their online goods for pick up. The ube rugelach croissant was amazing. It had a nice ube flavour with a nice bready texture. The topping on top added some nice crispiness to it. I also got some of the gviniot cheese cake danish and it was tasty and interesting. It was like a creamy lemon cheese sauce inside some pastry. We also got some of their pita bread and it was much more filling than a normal one from the store. It smelt so good driving back from the store. Definitely, a place to try for something different. I am keen to try their babka and challa.

β β β β β It is such a neat little place.. So popular and busy.
The best falafel I have ever tasted.
Come back a couple of times, the guy who take my order remember me with or without mask, so nice and friendly. I brought a friend with me today, we both love it. I wish I live as close as my friends does..
Yum..

β β β β β Unbelievably good Pitas! The pita bread itself is so light and fluffy, the falafel is crunchy on the outside but still moist on the inside. The sweet treats are also awesome ? cannot fault the food and coffee here.
