Carterton Holiday Park offers a park-like setting with individual private sites. It is close to the shops, parks, local swimming pools and the entrances to the Tararua Ranges. The park offers 32 powered sites, numerous non powered sites. It also boasts 6 fully furnished, heated and carpeted self-contained units sleeping up to 6 people. All linen and bedding is provided in self-contained units. Plus 4 basic cabins sleeping up to 7 people. OWN LINEN AND BEDDING REQUIRED for these cabins or you can hire off us. The park also has well equipped communal facilities. We DO NOT PERMIT PETS in any of our units/cabins.

- 4 minute drive to Clareville Hockey Pavillion
- 20 minute drive to Martinborough
- Central to Castle Point, Cape Palliser and Lake Ferry

Camp sites are very generous in size and private. Management very accommodating and pleasant. The facilities are exceptionally clean, very quiet, great dog park next door, well equipped children play ground, Dairy next door, wonderful family dog friendly camping ground.

Toilets look brand new clean and extremely up market. This place is one of the best we have been too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awesome campground . Well set out campsites in good sheltered areas , facilities were well maintained and well serviced. Showers were incredible didn't mind paying a $1 for instant hot high pressured water . Pet friendly including murtle the turtle an avairy friendly cats and the hosts made sure you were comfortable and loved our Easter surprises left on our table overnight .Thank you for a great stay and definitely be back and highly recommend others to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a family friendly campsite with well maintained very clean facilities. The owners really care about you and want you and your family to have a great time. The local open air pool is one block away (5 minute walk) and free. If you like camping then you definitely have to try this campsite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As self-contained motor homers we seldom visit commercial camping grounds but this visit was for a special event. Learning of the tariff we thought it a little dear but the experience showed great value. Facilities were extensive with something for everyone, specially families. The amenities were immaculately clean, the grounds very clean and tidy in a great area with sports ground nearby. So, very good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently stayed 2 nights in a cabin at Carterton Holiday Park, and our stay there could not have been better. The cabin was roomy and very well equipped, and absolutely pristine. The whole camping ground was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely return there if ever we are down that way.
