★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Caterpillar with the kids for coffees and milkshakes . Coffees were great and milkshakes delicious! We would have eaten here had we been hungry as the food looked really good . Will have to visit again . Staff were friendly too .

I had a lovely Coronation Chicken croissant, this is not a common filling seen, but it was lovely.
We both enjoyed our coffee and watched the world of Pukekohe .
Well worth trying. :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was unhappy about their customer service a year ago, and left a 2 Star review on Google, until recently I went back to the Cafe, and was quite surprised about the improvement they have done for the past year. I noticed a significant change.
- much better customer service on till compares to last year
- coffee tastes better and more consistent
- a good selection of healthy desserts and drinks, in particular the dessert they added more options, and not too sweet compare to other cafés and shops
- Kids area has been improved as well
Thus I have amended my review in here to reflect current improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cluttered and small. They do not cater for those with allergies ie dairy free or gluten free. There was nothing in the cabinet, let alone on the menu. Staff were stumbling over themselves trying to serve customers. Not a high standard of service or product.
I then noticed a male staff member who I assume was the manager went outside, and was rude to two ladies with a small child, who were minding their own business. His comment about the food the child was eating at the time was not appropriate considering from what I saw in his cabinet, no child would eat or want to touch the food.
His sarcasm and derision towards them was the final straw. Seriously you are deluded, you run a business in Pukekohe not Ponsonby. At least cafes there are more pleasant to all walks of life and cater to many different allergens. God forbid if they had had a dog with them. Thid male seriously needs an education in hospitality as he is definitely in the wrong industry. Remember you are always under the scrutiny by the public.
