β β β β β After sales service is very poor & individual spare parts are not available making repairs uneconomical expensive. Better off buying a Davey, Pentair, Calpeda or Orange pump and controls individual spare parts are available.
Our Australian business has purchased many CEG pumps and controllers. Unfortunately their brisbane operation closed down. Our customer purchased a CEG pump from us and later unfortunately it ran dry. One small part was damaged but CEG told us we must buy the complete wet end assembly costing over $250 plus postage. Out of all the pump brands we purchase e.g. Davey, Grundfos, calpeda, Orange, Pentair ect... CEG is the only manufacturer that won't sell individual spare parts. We've sent multiple emails requesting a parts breakdown and been told that someone will get back to us but it's now been months and still no reply. This is very unprofessional. I honestly don't know how they have good Google reviews with service like this. Buyer be aware.

β β β β β Had a pump fail after two days of use. Pump was purchased through one of their stockists who kept trying to shift the blame onto the install, even though they designed and supplied all the parts for a lawn irrigation system. Everything was installed as per design and installation recommendations and continued to come up with theorys that were debunked with evidence. This was over a 2 month period. Got feed up and went straight to their supplier (CEG). Tony came to the rescue! Within two minutes discussing the install and causes posed by irrigation express, Tony straight away said that they would replace/ repair the pump at no charge and contacted the stockist to ensure it all went smoothly. Fantastic that CEG stood by there brand to ensure a happy outcome. Cheers Tony
