β β β β β Great stay, friendly staff, the facilities kept extremely clean. Only offsets I found were that the walls were paper thing, making it so you can hear every creak and whisper. But everyone seemed to be respectful/cautious with the loudness. Close to the city centre as well which was a plus.

β β β β β Really nice place to stay when you visit Dunedin.
The staffs are very friendly and the rooms are very nice. The best part I liked their was the TV lounge and the area to play musical instruments like guitar, violin, piano, drums....etc. The Bathrooms and toilets are clean and it they are cleaned frequently. The kitchen is also very nice and we can make our on food and the kitchen also have provisions to store our groceries if we are staying for more than one day. The kitchen is also cleaned every day. All the common areas are also cleaned every day. There is also a dining area where we can have food with others from various places and it is really a good place to make some new friends.

Friendly staff and place
Highly recommend it
Only problem is that its on an uphill area so be careful of your luggage when stepping out of a shuttle or taxi

It's my second time at this place in a 2 year span. Would definitely recommend or come back.

β β β β β Reasonable price, I loved the old architecture of the house. Receptionist is really nice. He checked and helped us to swap a comfortable room. We slept well. Thank you, you made a good impression about Dunedin for me

β β β β β Didn't sleep a wink. Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable than the bed. The water pump (?) was also super loud. I got woken up every time someone used the tap or toilet. The bathroom was covered in mould. Staff were friendly and parking was easy to find. Whilst very cheap I have stayed in other backpackers which offer better value for money. I would not stay here in the future.
