★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Christchurch Gondola nice scenery to watch from the top ....You can get a 360 degree view over the city of Christchurch and Lyttleton Harbour. It's a 1,000 metre lift and at the peak you will be 500 metres above sea level. Apart from the spectacular views, it's uncannily quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went up there today because I was bored, I bought a annual pass and loved it. The cafe is nice and I stuffed my face with a burger and chips. I will be going weekly for a lunch visit, only work around the corner, and the annual pass let's you ride on the tram and gondola all year for 69. Get one. Lol
