Our latest creation opening in Manurewa (near Botanic Gardens), South Auckland around mid 2020 – a fully inspired Gaia (Earth) based childcare centre complete with a 10,000 sqm (1 hectare) native forest to explore and play in, a giant leaf shaped building that “bio-mimics” natural eco-systems of the Earth like self energizing solar powered systems (like photosynthesis), rainwater harvesting (like a lotus leaf), and roots that connect to the Earth itself (like plant roots), and much, much more…

β β β β β We are very happy that our daughter goes to this wonderful centre. She has been there over a year now since she was 6 months old. All of the staff are so friendly and caring and the Centre itself is beautiful, spacious and clean with a fantastic outdoor area.

β β β β β We've had our 2 year old at Chrysalis full time since she was just 5 months old. The staff are as amazing as the facilities. We feel like she's in great hands. We haven't had any of the issues that our friends have had at other daycares. Other the staff, the stand outs to us are the in-house chef and the purpose built building which is crescent shaped facing into the awesome playground.

β β β β β My son has been attending Chrysalis for the past 18 months and he's thriving.
The caregivers are wonderful, kind and caring people who work tirelessly to keep the children interested with different activities.
They have a healthy food policy which is fantastic and teaching my son good lifetime eating habits.
The centre itself is amazing with it's indoor / outdoor flow giving the children plenty of room to play, sing, dance, create and nap in natural surroundings.

β β β β β Our almost 2 year old twins have been attending Chrysalis since they were 9 months old. Our whole family loves Chrysalis! The core values of respect and love are evident throughout the center. All of the staff are so caring towards the children and our girls have formed strong bonds with many of their teachers. The facilities are amazing and the staff are always organising exciting activities that foster creativity, curiosity and a sense of adventure. Usually it is hard to drag them home at the end of the day as they are having so much fun. I highly recommend Chrysalis to any parent looking for exceptional care for their child.

β β β β β It's been months but I had to write this for new parents to know. From all the google reviews and things said about this center, my husband and I were happy to choose Chrysalis. And then, our nightmare started. Absolutely poor service from such a reputable center. Inconsistent daily sheets, minimal to no communication between the teachers and to top it off, they had a day where my child wasn't given a bottle! She was 10 months old when this happened. When asked for an explanation, no one could tell why she wasn't offered a bottle, it is simply heart breaking ! Thursdays are the worst, as it is their busiest , my child would come back with a super heavy nappy . Within a month of going to this center, she also fell on her face, outdoors. I understand children fall, but she fell on bark outdoor where there was no mat laid. It is pure carelessness to have no mat outdoors for children that age. When asked to leave the center due to the above issues, the center manager could even ask me to complete my notice period and pay the weekly fee. It is when i got really irate that she said we could leave without notice. My child goes to a smaller center now, absolutely love the teachers and the communication for a new parent is fabulous + they update me on her progress which is so important for children that age as they cannot speak.
