β β β β β Prepare yourself for faulty machines and Terrible customer service!
We live down the road so have used this local Laundromat a few times usually good. However..my last visit I used two large washers and both machines stopped mid cycle I called customer service and was told to take out the wet washing and place into another two machines.. I couldnβt believe that was the solution, take out soaking wet washing not one load but two large loads and transfer to another two machines. I asked the question if the machines could be reset the operator then looked into this further and she reset the machines it sounded like she was reading a manual but I was fortunate by pushing there was an alternative solution, compared to the first (how ridiculous). The machines were eventually reset however I had to spend more money as the operator couldnβt figure out how to re start the machines. It gets even better... Today two weeks maybe even three weeks later I receive a text to provide my bank account details for the refund I completely forgot about. I called the number not sure if this was some sort of a scam then quickly realising who they were. I asked if they were going to provide a full refund (second amount spent to finish the cycles) and for the inconvenience caused such as the extra time spent waiting. NO WAY.. I was told this is a self service Laundromat if I wasnβt happy then go down the road and use another Laundromat... I was disgusted Iβve lived in Avondale for 26 years a message for Thewashouse Laundromat located at 303 Rosebank Rd please do not open a business in our beautiful Avondale where your machines are faulty and instead of telling your customers to get lost how about apologising?? And yes from now Mr Manager I will be using the other Laundromat UP the road!

There are lots of faulty machines lately.
One of coin stucked in a dryer and try to claim it via customer service hotline given.
They refused to refund my money.
This happened before and I claimed it before but this time they refused to refund.
Quite strange! Caz the person who answered my call said she'll refund it. But after a moment she said " I apologize that I can't refund it".
Strange and disappointed!

β β β β β Biggest self service laundromat in avondale. Now they have installed eftpos operated machines. So you no longer need to ask for change from the fuel stations. All machines are clean and working. Bit chaotic around Saturdays and Sundays.

β β β β β 1x week ago, washed all my large fluffy blankets. Powder trays need cleaning. Looked up and cobwebs on ceiling. Needs some maintenance floors need washing. It seems neglected. It's a service that pretty much does all the work itself, so you'd think the least the owner could do was keep it clean. There's another wash place moving next door hmmm.?
