β β β β β My generators alternator stopped working, and I started thumbing through the yellow pages. After reading Philip Powells review, I was tempted to keep looking, but instead, took a gamble, and placed my alternator in his hands for repair. On pick up, there was no charge, as work done was minimal to get it working again. From experience, I have found contractors often do unnecessary work, or even fabricate work done to be able to inflate charges....but NOT City rewinders which tells me they have more integrity than most.

β β β β β Not impressed so far. Gave them a phone call to see if they could repair my Generator and they said yes. I then took it to them based on that phone call. It has now been a month and I had to call them to see what is going on. At first the guy didn't know what I was asking about, then tells me I will have to wait as they have accepted to much work. Then he got upset when I asked for a time frame to get it back and would not give me a time frame to expect my generator back. I recommended you DO NOT USE this company.

β β β β β Really disappointed with the service I've had shown to me from City Rewinds. Before I started my search to get my motor for my band saw looked at I went onto Google to do my own research to prevent myself from being stuffed around. This place had good reviews so I decided to drop it off there. 7 weeks latter and 4 non returned phone calls, I've finally managed to make contact only to be told its not been looked at and wont be as they are to busy. So disappointed that a simple phone call to tell me that it would not be looked at when I called at the 3 week mark. I would not recommend this place if you are just a simple home handy man looking to get something fixed or even some idea of what my problem was, I did not expect any favor's just needed a reliable company to help me with my problem, they just lengthened my issue without notice. Unfortunately I had to add a star just submit this post...
