I drive down there on Wednesday morning, told members only so I can't get on until after 1pm (fair enough, a club needs and should give priority to it's members), then drove down there on a Thursday, was told, need to mow the driving range grass on a Thursday morning, sorry you need to come back in a few hours.
I totally understand these things need to happen, but how about you up date your opening hours on Google to allow for this. People check these hours to understand if a business is open to the public, in this case you are not. So instead of advertising that you're open from 8:30 onwards, change it to suit, that way people won't waste their time driving back and forth.
A simple fix will ensure people don't write bad reviews and get annoyed with wasting their time..
