Very good. Only issue was poor wifi in the Villas, but everything else was great. Highly recommended!

My car got broken into overnight at Peppers Clearwater & besides the cleaner who vacuumed the broken glass from my car the rest of the staff were appalling. They lied to us saying they had security cameras where we parked and that they would deal with the police & we were not allowed. A week later when the police contacted me they said they hadn't heard anything from Clearwater. Clearwater kept saying it was the 'Clearwater Society' that deals with this but would not give me any contact details for them after asking multiple times. HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED & this sounds like it happens all the time and everyone there is told to not say anything. We were given 2 free coffees (which we had actually already paid for as breakfast was included) which weren't even barista-made (just out of a plunger thermos) A part from that the room was nice, but it was very dirty, there was someone else's hair behind the door in the bathroom, cobwebs in the lights, bird poo on the outside seat cushions etc For what is meant to be a luxurious hotel you would think they would have more duty of care towards their guests. Highly Disappointed & ruined what was meant to be a nice weekend away.

I stayed here for 3 nights, On the first night my car was broken into and $1500 of golf clubs were stolen, The following night a brand new E-Bike was stolen. The morning that I discovered the break in I was passed around through 3 people and told they would handle getting in touch with the police, aswell as requesting footage from the only set of cameras they have operating on site (right at the entrance of the resort, nowhere near the accomodation) after spending half a day there (preoccupied due to a conference) I was told that I now had to go and contact the police as they wouldn’t be doing so Pretty much got a β€œoh unlucky, that sucks” response. Not very helpful and not a very safe place to stay, got the feeling break ins are a common occurrence there and yet there’s no cameras near the accomodation.

Stayed here a few months ago in a garden view suite and first of all the service I got was pretty up setting I was unvaccinated so I wasent aloud in the restaurant that was fine but found out that they wouldn't service my room throughout the whole 3 night stay and the super king bed must have been 30 years old because it felt like someone had slept in it that long and coffee machine was not able to be used correctly, I felt very ripped off.

A beautiful resort with very average service. Upon checking, it took awhile until their shuttle became available. Got drop off to the apartment, tried to open the door, both swipe cards didnot work, tried to log in to wifi, wifi password didnot work either. Rang reception, The supervisor got called to get these resolved. As the apartment was right next door to a construction site, straight away experienced noise from drilling, banging, etc. I made a booking via phone and I was not advised of the construction situation. Not to mention, spiderwebs was noticeable on the ceiling, dust on lamp, the bed was uncomfortable. Rang the reception the second time, moved to a different apartment. The staff was lovely enough to apologize and help to move apartment. The second apartment was found in better cleaning condition, but Cigarette butt was left by the door, spiderwebs in the doors, old item (clothes?) was left on one of the outdoor chairs. Everything else inside the bedroom, lounge, bathroom was nice and comfortable. The apartment did not have a mini bar facility. Dinner at their restaurant was nice. Staff was lovely, scanned vaccination pass. Ordered 2 meals of fish, the salmon one was overcooked. The next morning, when back to the restaurant for breakfast, receptionist again asked for vaccination pass, one of us forgot to bring cellphone. Me: β€œwe scanned in last night”(the restaurant got a list of record of names and apartment/room number, and you need you sign after your meal, so they can charge to your room), the receptionist man with attitude in his voice said: β€œbut I was not here last night”. So I went all the way back to the room to get the phone. It would be a better customer service if he could have said :” due to the regulations, we are not allowed to bla bla bla, we apologise for the inconvenience”. And as they have their shuttle service, it might have been easier if he could offer to a lift to the apartment. I absolutely understand that he did the right thing by asking for the vaccination passport, but his approach and attitude were unnecessary and disrespectful towards their guests. I was planning to extend our stay until the weekends but the cost and the service were not aligned. So I booked a different hotel which is a lower rating but turned out much cleaner. P/S: The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, the waiter was very nice. I travel for work around the country very often, and this is the first time I really concern about it cleanness and customer service. A beautiful resort that got some aspects to improve. I would have to carefully consider if I will return to this facility.

Looks much tidier than the last time we were there. Restaurant has also changed names so hopefully a different chief . The young lady in the bar so nice. We took a risk after last visit it paid off such a beautiful view etc.

I arrived just before 9pm and was disappointed to find no food services were available. Perhaps extending the hours of room service should be considered for late travellers. So hence only 4 stars. The room was nice and comfortable. On a very positive note I regularly travel NZ for business and have to say that by far this was the best conference lunch I have ever had. So for those looking to host conferences or meetings then this is definitely a place that will not disappoint.

I spent $275 for a fake lake review and not enjoying the stay at all. They sent me the survey but only allows 230 characters of feedback which is not enough so I decide to pass my disappointed feedback over here. Not sure how the hotel defines itself. If it is a service apartment I would expect the basic kitchen facility and parking. If it is a hotel,or resort , I would expect a standard quality to match the price I paid. The robes are not in standard side, no slippers provided, Bute the toilet is inside shower , after shower I have to wipe the floor otherwise I will have to stand on cold wet. The king bed is jointed by two single beds which I can understand. But I can feel the gap in between which I could not believe that is the resort standard. And no build in charger for phone charge facility. All I got is a old disgusting extension lying on the floor. There is a construction next door, the room smells terrible of paint. And the drill noises start at 9am on a Saturday morning . I have no idea why would I stay in such terrible room for a relict holiday to compensate my one year hard work. Apart from a golf facility , no swimming poor no gym no hot tub. Totally wasted.
