Unfortunately the food was quite average, and there was only one front of house staff who seemed not quite sure what she was doing. But I imagine this would be a great spot to have drinks on a sunny day!

Expect typically laid back West Coast hospitality. Nothing is done in a rush. Not necessarily even efficiently. But the welcome is sincere, the menu extensive, and the food perfect for the setting. We all had toasted sandwiches and thick cut chips. Hearty comfort food for a cool winter day, cooked just right. There are beers on tap and in the cooler, along with wine and a range of non alcoholic drinks.

The decor is nice, service is friendly and there is plenty of seating- both indoors and outdoors. The only thing we missed is a train....but that’s not controlled by the cafe! We would be very happy to visit again!
