β β β β β Good people in Commercial. In Roxburgh. JOHN and Pat were friendly warm hearted owner in this hostel. I was happy with John and Pat good sincere Christian people John and Pat. I was thankful to owner of Commercial hostel about their help and caring . Had a enjoy good work days too. I worked factory almost 3 months here and was ok place to have a season apple job here. From Hyun Jae Lee . All my respect to John and Pat. Friend.

β β β β β Lovely place ! I was there during 2 months (I worked in a factory arounds). The people working there are very nice and available. The kitchen is not the best one but perfect to meet people. One problem: not enough hot water ...

β β β β β This is a backpackers/fruit farm workers hostel.
The management are nice and well meaning and they can get you cherry picking or orchid work around the local area.
The kitchen is always busy and lively at night with people chatting, drinking and cooking many different kinds of cuisines. So thereβs many Asian food smells in there lol.

β β β β β Fantastic place to board, lovely people to meet, and an absolutely brilliant owner, John is an absolute legend and was so sweet and nice to us and helped us settle in well. I fully recommend to stay at the Commercial as me and my mate had a lovely time. He even lowered our rent and dropped it even more once we had decided to depart, what more could you want?!
Pros:
-Fantastic owner, John is absolutely wonderful
-Beautiful scenery and landscape, mostly sunny with beautiful weather.
-Perfect spot in town; supermarket just across the street and a gas station just down the road.
Cons:
ABSOLUTELY NONE! fantastic stay!
