About Computers At Work
We are a locally owned and operated IT Support business that has served residents and business in Taupo for over 25 years. Our philosophy in business has been to provide excellent service with honesty, integrity and value for money. We have steered clear of fads and always look to the interests of our clients as a priority. As our client base has grown we now support business in towns and cities though out New Zealand and also Sydney and Brisbane in Australia.
Computers at Work has been operating in Taupo since 1984, basically from the beginning of the personal computer revolution. We have seen a lot of "indispensable must have" technologies come and go in our time and this experience has helped us to help our clients navigate the ever changing world of technology with minimal hassle and maximum return on investment.
Over the years we have grown our service offerings in step with our clients growing requirements for access from anywhere computing environments. We have also added managed services and cloud based services as needs have arisen.
We currently have 5 staff comprising, 4 technical/support, 1 workshop and front desk manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been a good paying client, have taken several computers in for fixing over the past year. The last time I took a pc in they told me "the problem you bought it in for has been fixed" which seemed like a strange thing to say. Upon receipt of the pc and plugging it in, the internet was not working. I am sure they would have known this. Also a previous time I was told my pc had been fixed, but it was not, the very same problem was there, $150 dollars later.
Not impressed.
