★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With having set up a move on a few bits and bobs like beds and draws and boxes from chch to Invercargill I thought it would sting my pocket a bit, However, I found Conroys at least $350 cheaper than the rest and all while being over the silly session
I had few questions after the quote was paid for and they were quick to respond
Then I hear the news that it was all moved down there within the quoted time all with Xmas crammed between it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge disappointment! My beautiful Yamaha piano was left uncovered in the Nelson storage shed and staff admitted 'they had a tinkle on it' while I waited days for it to be delivered. Poor communication about delivery date and time and then proceeded to drop the piano on our front entrance steps which then needed to be repaired. Staff were rude and used foul language in front of my children. I would not trust Conroy's with precious instruments or any of your gear, they are disrespectful and lack the skills to care for your belongings. Management claimed they would 'make it right' but only refunded a tiny portion of our overall moving/handling costs. Will never use them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have to say I was extremely impressed with all aspects of my experience with Conroy Removals from my first contact for a quote provided by the Nelson Branch to pick up an antique oak table and chairs from Tauranga to Grovetown, Blenheim, to the followup on delivery details and delivery itself. All items arrived safely and without damage, so a big thankyou to Tim and his helper, Truck 255, delivery 17/3/2020. Amazing Service that went beyond my expectation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: I wrote to them as requested. A week later, no reply. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
1. We requested delivery any day of the week except Friday.
2. They called Fri morning wanting to deliver. We couldn't be available but I arranged to be home from work by 2pm so we'd manage any time after that.
3. They arrived at 1.40 so I had to get home as fast as possible.
4. The two men unloading were polite and efficient, HOWEVER:
5. Whoever packed our things at the other end had ignored the provided inventory and packed furniture we didn't want, and more than three huge boxes of stuff that DOESN'T EVEN BELONG TO US.
6. Several things were severely damaged, including a custom built wooden bookshelf. I was devestated and asked what they planned on doing about it.
7. They asked if we'd bought insurance and we had, so they shrugged, made a few notes and left.
8. Insurance excess is $350. Basically, we've been ripped off and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR POSSESSIONS TO ARRIVE UNDAMAGED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really helpful staff who went above and beyond in ensuring our cabinets were delivered in a timely and professional manner. Not only did they help move a large mirror to make way for the cabinets but they also offered to take all the packaging away with them. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had only problems with this company, our moving was a nightmare. They didn't communicate between the branches from Whangarei to Nelson. Always asking our address, didn't communicate the information we gave us, for instance, for a drop off, they didn't use a blanket to protect a table as we asked, we told them there were some flooding in our area, so the truck could be stuck and they didn't care, so the truck couldn't pass. No answer from email or voice mails. Pick up and drop off at different days we planned without communicating on the delays. Lots of our belongings were broken ; pictures, fishing cane, broom, bed, shoes rack....At the drop off, most of our items were not labelled and the manager had to review them.
