In 2017 three Council owned venues merged under one management umbrella, and Whanganui Venues & Events was created. We now have a dedicated team of event professionals who work across all three venues, and can assist with your function expectations.
We offer an eclectic portfolio of iconic Whanganui venues for events of all types. Whether it's 20 or 2,000 guests, we have a venue for every occassion.
Complementing our premier venues, we offer services and expertise to help you facilitate a world-class event in the heart of Whanganui. Our venues provide the perfect blank canvas to create unforgettable events, making your own magic in our beautiful River City.

โ โ โ โ โ The world-class gardens are well maintained year round. I enjoy the challenging walk zones as much as the time spent ambling amongst the flaura and fauna. Theres an ok mix of natives and exotic species- inasmuch a way that it may offend some purests of either denomination.
The nearby track and amenities make a nice adventure walk any time of year - not just on the special and other public evรจnts/occasions.

We went to The Laser Show put on by Hospice.
A fun Family Event with lots of people making it a fantastic evening.
The grounds were well maintained.
Toilets a bit messy, but to be expected.
The staff and wardens on duty were helpful and did an excellent job.
