★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: This business will open under a new name and new ownership and I am looking forward to ongoing quality service. Worst news is they are going out of business... Damn. Was one of my favourite shops. A store of items for the serious sailor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a great experience - bought an Icey Tech from these guys which should have come with bungs - but it didn't, When I went back to ask following a couple of weeks away on Xmas holidays, was told I could buy a pair - although I was told they came with them as standard, except for the floor stock which mine was - customer service fail. I now have a choice to spend my money with others who can track my purchases with their loyalty schemes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing.. Wasn't looking forward 2 having 2 buy sailing gear 4 my first ever offshore cross cook St.. Being very curvy gal wif big feet thought it would b horrendous.. But the young lady who helped me was so gud I got all the protective and wet weather gear I had on my long list with gloves and glass case n few things thrown in for free! Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience with a faulty product.they would not honour the consumer act and refused point blank to even negotiate in good faith.
they were rude and aggressive so I will not shop there again. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store over the years but not any more. Burnsco is a much better option and very helpful and friendly staff.
They will get my business in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in on Sunday after receiving a fishing rod for Christmas with no clue what we were doing or what we needed, sean was one of the most helpful guys we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, he gave heaps of advice and his enthusiasm was infectious! We left with all the gear and a lot more 'idea' than we came in with. It took 6 hours, 3 hooks, 3 sinkers ( also snapped the arm off our reel ?) but we eventually caught a little snapper! Threw him back in and although we didn't have fish for dinner we certainly went home with smiles on our faces! Someone give that guy a raise! Thanks Sean!!❤️
