β β β β β I did two tours with CA, cathedral cove/hot water beach and coastal walkway, and both were excellent. The organization was professional. information on the area and stories about the places plentiful, and we had plenty of time for everything. Thanks to Sarni, Steve and Willie for making my stay in Coromandel a very memorable experience!

β β β β β I canβt say enough wonderful things about Coromandel Adventures. To start I will say we traveled to New Zealand from New York during the Christmas season. We traveled as a family of 6 (3 adults and 3 children) and booked the private Northern Hot Spots tour. We added an extra day to the tour to visit Lake Taupo. The whole tour was booked via email with Sarni. She was able to answer all my questions promptly and took care of all the little details such as booking the ferry and all tickets to enter the different attractions.
Our 1st day was the day after Christmas. She met us at the ferry in Coromandel with another gentleman (his name escapes me at the moment) who drove us to our hotel to drop off our luggage. We had a quick lunch and we started our tour with Sarni who was an excellent guide with such knowledge and passion for Coromandel. We explored Waiau Kauri Grove, Waiau Falls and the Driving Creek Railway. The natural beauty of it all was breathtaking.
The next day our tour guide was Steve. He was another excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of the area. We visited Hot Water Beach & went on the Hahei Explorer to Cathedral Cove. Steve is an expert at digging a pool near the hot springs.
On the third day Willie picked us up and was our tour guide for the next three days. He took us to Matamata to visit Hobiton (a must see attraction), followed by heading to Rotorua to visit Te Puia where we experienced the Geothermal sights, Te Pohutu Geyser, Kiwi House, Maori Cultural Centre, Traditional Maori greeting, Cultural Performance and Traditional Hangi Dinner.
The next day we toured Rainbow Springs and did the Kiwi Encounter in Rotorua. Then we headed to the Glow Worm Cave & Ruakuri Cave in Waitomo.
On the last day Willie brought us to Lake Taupo. We stopped to enjoy the beauty of Huka Falls before heading on to Ernest Kemp to cruise around Lake Taupo and see the Maori Rock Carvings. We got to know Willie very well during those 3 days. He was not only an excellent tour guide but became a friend. My kids, especially my 3 year old just became so fond of him. He would wake up in the morning asking if we will see Mr. Willie again. I think the saddest part of the tour was that it ended and we had to say goodbye to Willie.
Honestly this was absolutely the best tour experience my family and I have ever had. It was also reasonably priced for all that was included. It was a priceless experience in our minds for the memories we made and the people we met. If you are considering a tour with Coromandel Adventures just book it. You will not be disappointed!!!

β β β β β Our workplace team hiked the Coromandel coastal walkway this week with the Coromandel Adventures tour group, from Stony bay to Fletchers.
I found the driver Willy, thorough, knowledgeable, humorous and professional.
The drive to Stony bay is 1.5hrs, so it was nice to have somebody experienced doing the driving on the narrow, gravel roads.
The walk itself was amazing and I highly recommend.
Willy picked us up in Fletchers bay and provided hot drinks and cookies on the trip back to Coromandel.
A great company to do the trip with.

β β β β β I honestly don't know where to start, but from the moment we arrived at coromandel ferry pier to leaving coromandel, everything was arranged nicely. We booked a tour to driving creek and a day tour for the hot water beach/cathedral cove. Our tour guide Anton was super nice and considerate throughout the entire trip. He even showed us a few scenic spot along the way to take some good photos. I will definitely come back again and join more tours with this company. Thank you so much for showing us around coromandel!

β β β β β My sister and I used Coromandel Adventures in order to do The Coastal Walk and Muriwai track walk. Sarni was an excellent tour leader super friendly and professional just as advertised from start to finish. If you plan to do these walks this is the safest option and great walks to do one way being dropped off at start and collected at end. After second walk Sarni greeted us with a great cup of coffee and biscuits. Thank you Sarni for a fabulous day.

β β β β β I booked the New Chums Beach Tour and the Cathedral Cove & Hot Water Beach Tour with Coromandel Adventures. It was nice of them to pick me up and drop me off where I was staying. I just wish we had more time at Cathedral Cove but other than that, it was perfect.

β β β β β Family trip out around some of the coastal islands off Tairua. Stunning day out visiting spots you would otherwise miss without access to the water. Beautiful scenery and even a little wildlife (little blue penguins)! Would love to go to the Aldermen next time we are up. Thanks again and all the best for the summer ahead.
