β β β β β Has to be the rudest hotel manager/owner anywhere. A great experience if you're in to that kind of thing but not for us. After grabbing a drink we went to sit at an empty table to suddenly be barked at 'you can't sit there' .. he was holding the tables for someone else. We felt humiliated in front of the whole pub until some kind local invited us to their table. Went and ate food somewhere else

The staff member was not wearing a mask when she served us.
Food was ok.

β β β β β Haven't been there for quite a long time.So me a d my brother's we nt there for tea recently. This place is Tops with me.The food well I had been telling my bro I was hungry for Patiki or sorry Flounders. And yes you guessed it Flounder meal that's what I ordered my older brother much older (hahaha) ordered the steak meal my younger bro he's on a diet and ordered fish'n'chips.Well fishΓ·chips come out first and I look at my bro.Next comes the flounder meal.holy he'll and last comes the steak meal.I took some photos of our meals but some how I stuffed it up and deleted them.Anyway all our meals were huge The steak meal my brother couldn't eat it all.My flounder was hanging over the plate my bro fish+chips Well he's no longer on his diet and yes our meals were alot bigger then the price we payed for them.The Public bar where we had our meal was Tops the bar staff were excellent and friendly. And the owner Stan Hill thankyou mate Top bloke Top Pub and awesome food.

β β β β β Great pub meal and generous servings. The seafood chowder was creamy and tasty, although not much seafood chunks to be found. The carpet bag steak was juicy and delicious.
Menu has a good variety from seafood to steak or lighter meals. Staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
