Cottontails is an exciting new childcare facility based in Stanmore Bay, on the Hibiscus Coast, Whangaparaoa. We offer short and full day care catering for children 3 months to 6 years old.
About Cottontails Childcare
As members of the Stanmore Bay community, the owners started Cottontails because they wanted to provide a natural, friendly environment where tamariki (children) are happy and their whanau (families) are relaxed and stress-free. They have a strong sense of community and this is reflected in the philosophy of the centre. The natural environment focus presents opportunities for children to play together and develop friendships to last a lifetime. Their priority is low teacher to child ratios, to ensure quality teachable moments and strong trusting relationships with kaiako (teachers).
Knowing that Stanmore Bay Cottage holds a special place in the hearts of the community they wanted to retain the character and charm, but incorporate modern facilities and learning spaces for your children. They have done this by creating an amazing space that reflects the history of the cottage.

THE most fussiest eater in the world tried 2 new things this week! Thank you so much for nurturing my little boy when I can't be with him all day while I am teaching my primary school kids. Can't wait to see what you bring out of him in the next year and a half!!!

My 3 year old loves going and has settled in so well with the loving help of his carers. He asks to go on days he's not booked which I call a win!

Delicious and nutritious food, I have pinched a few recipes .? Very friendly staff and all round great feel.
