★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store needs a major makeover. It always looks dirty. Meat leaves a lot to be desired and a lot is crumbed or marinated. Checkout staff are crumpy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a lack of staff,I shop here as they have good specials but the lack of checkouts open at busy times is just ridiculous,very frustrating,and the click and collect should be done in early morning,not all day!!!!

Checkout lady was polite and chatty offered me a bag that I forgot to take.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no Countdown in Balclutha. So, if u r around and a Countdown fan, then this would only be the option. However, the most disappointing fact is that they did not have a self checkout. I shopped on 22/Apr/2022. They had an express counter too, but there was nobody there too as I was just shopping few items, if either of those was there, would have been better. There is a separate entrance and an exit. Is is located in the shopping complex where Mitre 10, Noel Leeming is located. There is a Westpac ATM.
