★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had recently visited today at 1:30pm to find wet floor signs, trolleys and baskets everywhere as this is a health and safety issues and/ or concerns.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Please fix these issues.. it’s dangerous!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away from this countdown and especially cashier Roshni. She is the worst. Will pack your stuff in a rude manner while breaking everything. Will talk in an annoyed tone to you while chatting away with her co-workers. Ridiculous service. Have never had such experience. Never going to this countdown again. Avoid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was anxious going in but the staff were controlling the amount of people going in. My anxious shop was made easier due to the staff & amount of people in the shop. Staff were very helpful & pleasant to talk to. Usually I shop online due to my spine injury & the checkout person I was served by was awsum. Sorry didn't get his name but I appreciate the banter & service received - terminal #N9091004. Hope u did have a wonderful rest of the day at work & going to see your family that afternoon ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IMPORTANT HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUE:
After spending months forcing customers to long queues and comply with Covid rules and social distancing, Countdown supermarkets are back to business as usual as if Covid never happened.
This afternoon 14/06/22 at around 3pm, I went to do a quick shopping at Countdown Onehunga and noticed that:
1) Many customers (3 over less than 4 minutes) did not wear a mask and hardly anyone sanitised their hands on entry.
2) One of the customer without mask was coughing all over the fresh vegetable. When asked, the local store manager did not seem too concerned about it, saying these people probably had exemptions.
There are security guards wearing yellow jackets who seem to do very little more than watching the check-out but nobody at the entrance to enforce basic Covid rules.
This lack of basic health procedure is appalling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service representative spoke rudely to me on the phone, I explained that a RAT kit had a test missing. She claimed it was impossible as they are locked away. The Manager agreed to replace the kit. While I was standing at the counter, the Manager informed the rep I was picking it up. I overheard the rep say I don't believe her do you. I interuppted and said I am standing at the counter. The CS representative is very judgemental and needs some training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a regular here and everyone is nice except for one lady named Reshmi/Reshni… I have been served by her 5-6 times and every time she never greets “hello” or says “thank you”. Just starts scanning and ignores customer. Has a lot of attitude for no reason and also today I purposely said “thank you, have a nice day” to lighten up the mood and she ignored me. Just not a nice experience. Avoid getting served by her. Lovely countdown overall.
