★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes very well stocked supermarket and good displays. Helpful trolley boy when I asked if they had a bathroom he actually show where it was good service. Forgot to ask him his name, nice young chap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful and luxurious place to stay and the staff were reassuring and great to talk to. Our time was short lived due to the Tsunami that hit on the night of our anniversary but, we would highly recommend them to anybody. Special mention to Tirikawa who took care of us at the front desk. You are a superstar. Thank you so much ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited many Countdowns on our travels. Not keen on the layout of this one. Different so took longer to do a shop. Disappointing bread selection, we were unable to get our usual brands. Many many empty shelves and I know with Covid its restricting but compared with Whangarei's other Countdown and others we have visited in the last 3 months it was sadly lacking. Layout was abit random. Didn't seem to be consistency in product layout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a difference. Regent Countdown has had a revamp and it looks great. Not much difference apparent in the bakery, but the further you get into the shop, the better it gets. We'll done Countdown. Now for Tikipunga.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's quite cramped in the isles and neither customers or staff social distance. Has consistently had issues with stock shortages over last 2 years. Often either doesn't have a price for products or products are out of place with the wrong prices.
I'm hoping things will improve when they're finished renovating.
But it's the closest to home and their fresh food tends to be fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vegs are old and shelf empty. Pay your workers and suppliers well so they serve u well too. It will make my shopping experience better. Have been going to New World for last three shopping trips and it's across the road.
Eric Rush was on the door managing the number of customers in store at any one time.
Also been to Countdown Tikipunga few days ago rather then go to ur shop.
