★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The male at the self checkout helping us made our experience 100 times better, nice and funny couldn’t of asked for better service. He let me use the bathroom as I was desperate along with my friend and unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by I assume his manager screaming in front of many customers about him letting us use the bathroom. With covid and all I understand her hesitation but we had explained to the guy we were desperate and the manger/ladies reaction was horrific - you should not treat your staff like that. Especially the staff who are there working hard and putting smiles on people’s faces. Wish we got the name of the guy but he was a legend. We were there at about midday on Saturday for reference I hope the bosses read this and give him a pay rise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service was bad. My 2 year's baby ate one bite from a banana. And when I came to the check out..the lady was so rude... I asked her to double the weight for the banana.. she refused and was so rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the most over priced Countdown in NZ and for that with online delivery you get substituted items that expire the next day, this is not a one time issue and it does seem they simply use substitution to offload their expiring stock. Delivery staff are brilliant and helpful but something is definitely amiss in the picking and produce departments.
