I got my hair permanently straightened at Crayon Nail and Beauty on 19/05/20, the process was 3 hours and I have been to many places to get my hair done. My old hair dressers took 6 hours and always had perfectly straight hair after 2 days of waiting and then wash. However, I waited 2 days and washed my hair and my hair was still curly, however a bit more tamed. I had messaged them about this issue and they said to come back. I went back and they used a different solution on my hair. I wasn’t happy about this as I had already had strong chemicals in my hair prior to the second time of trying to get it straight. I wouldn’t recommend this place for hair straightening as it was time consuming to come back, for $220 I would have gone to a different place. I have now washed my hair for the second solution routine, it isn’t perfectly straight, especially at the top of my roots. Not satisfied. However lovely ladies inside. Just don’t know how to do hair correctly :)

Staff are professional and really friendly. I got the $39 eyelash extension and paid extra $11 for 50 set. The girl did mine fast and told me to take my time while waiting for the glue to dry. That was nice because i did not feel rushed to pay and leave like other places do. This is my second visit here for eyelash extensions and I would definitely keep coming back.

I love this ladies!! I cannot believe that my hair straightening treatment takes about 1.5 hours. I was told by other experienced and professional hairdresser that treatment take 6 hours. Not so ... So happy with my hair straighten treatment. This is second time for me to get this treatment. Last year I got same treatment, and the straight lasted for 10 month. So good, so happy. Today I got the treatment again, I also got the cut and colour. So happy with my hair. I will always return.

Pretty good pedicure. Very basic and simple. They do have free WiFi. Very small shop.

Jenny is amazing!! The prices for eyelash extension is very affordable and it lasts really long. After getting my lashes done here, I’ve never thought of visiting another eyelash place Anymore. I live far but i dont mind going to this place because of the service I get every visit

I have had a Brazilian wax, gel on naturals & full set of lash extensions by Jenny and she never fails to disappoint! I’ve been to so many different salons around the country and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here. Jenny is incredibly sweet and pays so much attention to details :) Crayon Beauty is my new go-to salon for sure!!

I didn't think I would have to write this but I have been left with no choice. I visited the salon on 18th of December for permanent hair straightening and a retouch for regrowth. I paid for the service using a voucher I paid for from grab one. Any different I paid on top of the voucher . Don't get me wrong they were extremely friendly. However, the hairdresser was juggling three people all at once and completed a haircut while I was waiting for the permanent hair straightening cream to be washed out of my hair. During the process she pointed out the SOME of my hair was damaged but didn't advise me to not get any work done and continued on with the service., all went well during. However one day after the service I had massive amounts of hair fall out of my head. It didn't stop and it continued to fall. I approached them about this and they offered for me to come in and that they will check my scalp with a camera. They also said they could do a deep hair treatment. However, they didn't seem too concerned that hair was falling from my head and said they were all booked out until the 29th of December . More days passed and I started to develop bald patches around the right hand side of my head. I then went to a different hairdresser who assessed my hair and said it was completely singed and burnt from the inside and that my hair is literally dead. She also said that there is a lot of breakage which is cause the hair loss. She advised me to go back and talk to the manager which I have. I contacted crayon nail and beauty and demanded an entire refund however they refused and to demand a refund from grab one instead. I have had to visit A&E for medical care as my scalp was tender. I have also had to undergo more hair cuts, and have spent over 250 dollars on attempting to fix their mess. Since raising the issue there has been no resolution til this day. After many back and forward messages to the owner. They do not seem too concerned and it had been a few days since I have had any contact with them. No sincere apology. No refund. No further resolution. As you can imagine I am so devastated and extremely embarrassed. i have had so many traumatic experiences with the hair dressers in the past and this just adds to these experiences. I am so disappointed with the way they have handled this situation and no amount of money could bring back my hair. But I just want everyone to know to be weary as this may happen!!! I now have to take this matter further. I lose more and more hair everyday and I am completely devastated by this.
