Janet has 25 years’ communications and engagement experience working for central/local government and the private sector, on projects large and small.
Currently, she’s leading stakeholder engagement to help the development of mass rapid transport in Wellington – part of the city’s transformational Let’s Get Wellington Moving programme. This role follows her three years as southern engagement lead for the Safe Roads programme, winning community support for projects that will save lives and prevent injuries on their roads. Janet joined Crestani after engaging with communities as part of post-earthquake recovery in Canterbury – making sure people’s voices were heard. Her ability to move easily between diverse groups of people has shone through in all of these roles, while her collaborative style and project management nous mean she’s an asset to any team.
