★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Live in Queenstown and went across to play. Late summer and course still in great condition. Played off white tees so not super long and a bit of run. Had heard good things about the course and was not disappointed. Picked a fine day with no wind can be tricky in the wind. The redeveloped greens have super amounts of slope and contour worth playing just too see those and they make up for lack of length on a number of holes. Lots of sand features in the links style. Old greens flatter and more tradition. Good variation of holes on front nine with lots of doglegs. Back nine a bit boring two dog legs with others mostly straight holes. A golf course in the older links style requiring creative shot making around the greens. Better features in some respects to queenstown courses where green fines are a lot higher worth the trip over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $50 green fees are a bit steep for the quality of the course, but as a holiday destination there's few chances to recoup costs. Recommend morning play as the low sun makes the back 9 difficult to play due to sun strike.
