Played here in the early 2000,s and it was great then.
Just been back for the weekend and the course is looking the best I've ever seen it.
A must play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not support this golf club for the sake of animals and the environment. They will shoot a neighbors cat without thinking twice about it and then swear at you when confronted. Hope the groundsman enjoys prison!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taumarunui golf club disgusts me. Their staff/members have apparently been encouraged to shoot local pets - how incredibly disgusting. I will be sure to let Kiwi Doctors know to AVOID this golf club AT ALL COSTS. Especially when the borders open and the golf tourists are back. I hope this golf club is permanently associated with murdering pets and the owners held accountable for their cruel and horrific behaviour.
What is next, Taumarunui Golf Club? Will you shoot my children if they're playing too close to your greens? You don't seem to care about the law, common human decency or morals so how am I to know you won't treat my children as you do beloved pets?!
Shame on you.

Just looking I think it would play like Walton Heath in Surrey UK without the heather or Pitlochry in Scotland as that is rolling country
