★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our items were delivered by Dunedin crew to our place in Alexandra after being in Auckland storage for some time. We were concerned about the access - so Crown dropped by the day before the see for himself, and the crew did some reshuffling of the trailer to bring it up.
They arrived on time, placed each item in the correct place and were done early. The lead guy noted the missing time (Baby grand piano!) and followed up completing the paperwork to have Auckland start the search. Piano found, delivered (very carefully handled) and setup without a hitch.

My antiques, furniture & breakables arrived at destination in PERFECT condition. Breakables thoughtfully well wrapped.
Consignment arrived fast & quick to deliver items to my property.
Cardboard was taken away & driver unpacked furniture. Delivery driver was extremely helpful & professional.
I have no regrets & thank you again for helping me with my relocation back to Western Australia ?A+++

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crown agreed to move us on a very specific date. We confirmed all the details before we paid or signed anything. Crown then phoned us at 4:00pm the evening before the moving day and told us the dates/plan was changing. This caused significant problems for us. It was too late for us to book another company and they had our money at that point so we had no other options. I will never use crown again.
Update: Crown responded to this review asking me to contact them. I emailed them as suggested but they never got back to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we were forced to use Crown as the expense was reimbursed by our DHB (my partner and I are both healthcare workers). The removal team in Dunedin seemed extremely rushed resulting in a LOT of damage to our furniture and a broken iMac.
Additionally the movers left a large number of scratches on our walls which had to be repainted by ourselves as we were selling our house.
Customer service have been slow to respond and unhelpful. Very inconvenient and frustrating.
Highly do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a chance to work with Crown Relocations twice; from Auckland to Dunedin in 2014 and from Dunedin to Aberdeen in 2020. We are extremely happy with the service they provided. Never had any issues at all, no regrets. Also, we had the best quote from Crown for our move from NZ to UK possibly because of their well established network in Europe. If you are planning to make a move within NZ or internationally, this is the company I can strongly suggest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to push back my moving date three times, and Crown were responsive and patient every time. Moved my piano out an extremely tight exit, in pouring rain. The guys were friendly and cheerful the whole time, even while moving 100 boxes into my upstairs unit. No damage at all. Excellent Job!

Sales team were great, the packers were friendly. Unfortunately, the total experience went downhill after we accepted their extremely expensive quote (almost 30k) we thought we would get a good service after deciding to go with an apparently caring company. The brochures are simply lies- they do not not care end to end. They lied about how much space it took-loaded to Container off site, to get an extra $1500+ from us.(yes, we saw how much space it actually took when it arrived). It took weeks longer than it should have-they passed it over to an Australian company at this end- and took no more responsibility it seems. We had extensive unnecessary delays- the Australian company attempted to get extra from us for delivery- claimed that Crown had not paid enough-crown simply did not care. They didn’t unpack more than 300 boxes (included in the price) there was extensive and irreplaceable damage - eventually paid up after a long time and crazy amount of effort on our part to get them to do so. Do not use these guys- for an international move, they are amateur packers /movers. The dishonesty is beyond belief.
