★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am enchanting experience. Located at the edge of Oamaru's Victorian district this cozy restaurant oozes charm. The dining room is tastefully draped in plants that compliment the high ceilings and tall windows. It feels intimate without being cramped. First, the wine and spirits selection is ample. For food we started with the picada, an assortments of meats, cheeses, and pickles with grilled bread. Each was a treat for the palette and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Two of us had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by potatoes and greens which were richly enhanced by delightful sauces. In addition the venison was reportedly delicious as was the fish of the day (salmon). At the end we had no room for the temptation of dessert but were thoroughly satisfied and impressed with our experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere but a touch warm on a sunny day. Food was great. We dined on public holiday soo no bar service. But they do have a large selection of craft beers.

As a group of 4 we've ordered a couple of different starters and mains..and every single thing was amazing! Very tasty and well presented.
Simple interior, but very stylish and greenery adds a cool touch.
Would go back to Oamaru just to dine at Cucina again!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for our second dinner of the evening. We ordered from the lite menu, tempura type veges plus a tomato salad. Both really tasty and good choices for vegetarians.
Dessert was baked cheesecake with sorbet.
When in Oamara this place is a must visit
