★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really terrible curries. Tried 3 of them - all supposed to be medium spicy, they ranged from mild to hot. The taste was disappointing - very bland and awful. Will definitely not be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, normally go to Everest Kitchen in Blockhouse bay but they were closed. Awful food if you enjoy Indian food. We got two chicken dishes - butter chicken and korma. The chicken in both dishes was dry and was sliced chicken breast meat, not thigh meat and very little of it. Way too salty. The korma was tasteless, apart from the salt, the butter chicken too tomatoey and salty. Potato dish -Aloo Muter was tasteless, and barely any potatoes, those that were in it were watery! The rice was very bland and watery - must have been boiled and slightly over cooked. Our garlic naan was half burnt. We won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok food here, good service. Often not as spicy as I like, always ask for medium-hot, and get mild, so have to add siracha sauce to give it some heat but the food usually has a nice flavour. Lately though, the onion bhaji side, and the sauces are a bit thin, chicken dry, sadly, seems to have lost it's mojo. Used to get nice bit pieces of onion, but now seems to be all crumbs. Don't usually like to complain, but post lockdown, they seemed to have dropped the ball a bit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered chicken korma, was lacking in the flavour of cashew sauce, in fact flavour didnt stick around much at all, you get an initial taste but after that fairly bland, not bland enough not to eat it, but didn't have the satisfaction of a nice indian curry, and as per other reveiws, curry was fairly watery, but rice managed to soak most of it up

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good and certainly care is taken when making it. The dishes we had was not super flavoursome. There are so many excellent Indian restaurants in Auckland I can't give this place four or five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More of a 4.5 stars really, very good value meals, tasty and fresh, nothing bad to say... Really happy with the meals, marginally less veg/meat than a dearer restaurant perhaps but I keep coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious. The team are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Pricing and portion sizes are great value. We had the tandoori platter, bombay aloo, chicken tikka masala and chicken saag. All were fantastic. We usually use some of the more well known Indian restaurants in town but we are definitely changing to our local option. Highly recommended. Thanks guys for a superb meal and see you again soon.
