Bad experience and wouldn't recommed 1) Late to open store for booked appointment - never apologising 2) Shop freezing 3) staff disorganized Total waste of time and money

Terrible experience. Lady was late for the appointment so we were left standing outside. Then didn't apologize. And was quite unhelpful with dress selection. Being an open window store, felt it wasn't very professional or private. Just wasn't the experience we were expecting.

If you're not a size 2 I would give this one a miss. Commenting on how I have broad shoulders (I dont have very broad shoulders, and if I do 8 find it strange that nobody else has ever made mention of this), and how making me feel like I will not make any dress look nice on me isn't ideal. Also telling me how wearing a strapless is not a good idea because it is a "hollywood" look, slamming the type of dress I am after, not a good look. Unless you are wearing the dress, you don't have to like the style. I understand I can't get away with wearing every type of style but I have tried on strapless dresses and have felt they suit me, and I have had others say the same. The comment of if you're not a size 2 is more about being made to feel like an elephant. I suggest though that unless you are Pat you wouldn't understand how uncomfortable it was. Good luck with business, because even though I am larger, my voice is larger still. I will not be recommending Davis Bridal to anybody I know getting married.

Do not recommend at all. Staff look like they hate their lives, and hate their job. I felt uncomfortable even being in this store, the people I was with also felt the same.

From the moment my beautiful friend walked in for this special trip from another town we were pretty gutted at the poor service. One staff member in particular waS completely uninterested, the other seemed to just follow. The mannerisms made us feel completely unwanted, even caught an eye roll in there. Would not recommend if you dont know what you are after or are wanting some direction in what you are trying on. I am getting married 3 weeks after my friend and want my dream dress but I definitely wont be going to find it there. Other google reviews are completely accurate and its a shame we didnt check first.

All I can say is I am so gutted with this bridal store. I brought my dream dress in February with my mother and mother in law and we found the staff then disinterested, but not only that was the fact I called the store several times when we arrived to buy the dress as the doors were locked and no one was there, no answer on the phones the security guard ended up contacting the staff who come down and grunted an apology for being so late with the excuse of thinking I was coming in the next day. My wedding is now only 7 weeks away and today I had enough, in July I had a dress fitting and they were going to call me in 2 weeks I never heard a thing on Monday 27th September i tried to call them for an update and I was told I would hear back the next day I never heard back from them, called again on Friday was told I would hear by the end of the day, still nothing , I finally gave in and got my dress today and took it away to be hemmed elsewhere as none of the work had even been started. I am so disappointed. The dress is beautiful but the staff are terrible.

I live out of town and wrangled my daughter, Mum and bestie into town for my appointment at 2.00pm. At 1.30pm I received a call saying they have to cancel my appointment due to a team member being upset. I get that these things happen but there was no apology and they never contacted me to rebook so I took my $3k elsewhere!

Disappointed would be an understatement. My recommendation to others before booking here would be to read the reviews and make up your mind from there. Wish I had done this before both myself and my bridesmaids arranged baby sitters for this special dress fitting day. Arriving to a closed shop with lights off. We promptly called the shop to an answer of I'm driving, followed by you were supposed to be here last week, you didn't show and we don't have a booking this afternoon. A) if this was the case, where was our contact last week if you think we missed the appointment? B) Where was any sort of apology or consideration for our time lost? I've attached our booking card, which clearly states a booking for TODAY. It seems this has happened to many of your customers by the reviews left. My recommendation to you would to be to please consider a better booking system in future. But due to the nature of your response on the phone we will be taking our business elsewhere.
