As a designer, Sally Eagle's name has become synonymous with contemporary but delicate wedding dresses.
Sally's designs are romantic and classic. Wedding dresses that move with the bride, yet won't lose their well constructed shape.
Having planned her own wedding, and making her own wedding dress, Sally understands that finding the perfect wedding dress can be stressful. Sally makes it as easy and enjoyable as possible for brides that come to her. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, everything should be an experience to remember and treasure.
The Sally Eagle workroom is where every dress is designed, constructed and perfected. From design to construction, Sally maintains the standard to which each dress is made. It also gives her flexibility to make changes through the process where possible.
Sally graduated from Massey design school in Wellington, so she knows how hard it is to get fashion industry jobs in Wellington. By keeping production in Wellington she is able to employ others in the same situation as her, without them having to move or work overseas! All of the Sally Eagle dresses are made proudly made in New Zealand.
When not designing gorgeous bridal gowns, Sally enjoys painting, making elegant cakes and spending time with her husband and their two young boys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love my wedding dress Lucille from Sally Eagle. I had two consultations in their Auckland boutique where the whole space is reserved for you so you get full privacy - even champagne and chocolates on arrival! And unlike other boutiques - they don't mind if you take photos or videos to help you make that stressful decision! The fabric is of really good quality, and so comfortable to move, run, and dance in. I did have to get alterations elsewhere to get the bust/bodice fitted perfectly - so make sure you get measured properly! One downside is you do not get the consultation fee reimbursed towards the cost of the dress, but that is a minor detail. The price is still great for the quality you get in comparison to other places. Thank you!

They can even work with you to change things about your dress if you want a different skirt or longer train etc, makes for an amazing boutique!

The bridal shop is beautiful, the staff are lovely, highly professional and go out of their way to accommodate tricky requests. I was able to customise aspects of my dress which resulted in me getting my dream dress. I looked all over and Sally Eagle was the only place I could find exactly what I had been looking for.

I felt very comfortable and in safe hands with the wedding dress making process with Ashleigh, Sally and their whole wonderful team. The boutique itself is beautiful and has lots of open light. My dress is stunning and I'm so happy I chose Sally Eagle for my dress. I definitely recommend you choose them if you're looking for that special dress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TLDR: Professional, clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed the range and variety here - the first store we've visited to have different sizes of the same dress and different colours. Sally was friendly and professional.
We were running a little late so called ahead to let Sally know and she was very understanding. When we arrived we were greeted and offered drinks while music played and were invited to look around at the different dresses. She asked questions about what the wedding will be like, when it is, where etc to help choose a dress. She was pretty hands-off in terms of helping pick dresses, but we actually liked that as it felt more personal and she was right there to offer help and advice when we needed it. She was very respectful of Bride's privacy as she was getting in and out of dresses and helped fit them to the bride through the appointment. She was very complimentary of Bride and helped us to feel like we were all having a very intimate experience. The store was a little dark but it was the end of a very cloudy day so can't fault her for that. This was the only store that offered different sizes of the same dress and different colours which was really top-notch and made a big difference in terms of picking a dress. Also the only store we visited that offered "plus size" dresses (though we didn't need these). Ultimately the most professional experience we had that day and can't thank Sally enough for her hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wore Sally Eagle for my two-part pandemic wedding in France. Sally was incredible about making and fitting the dress on a tight deadline on one of our trips to NZ, and did an amazing job of customising Flora to match our wedding theme. Her painting on the hem was just stunning, and something I will treasure forever. The dress, being worn twice, did very well being washed and steamed and reworn, as per Sally's instructions. The fit didn't stand the test of two weddings, and I had to get it altered for the second wedding - the haute couture tailor I took it to was blown away by the quality of Sally's work.
