★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was hard to choose a bakery to stop at on our way through Oamaru. There are a few great options on Google maps. I'm glad we chose Delectables. The pies we purchased were amazing and had easily the best pastry ever. The south Island has consistently good pies and this is an example of the best. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. She made some excellent coffee, keep her on. If you're a pie tourist like me, this is essential. Great work.

I went at lunch time, which was a mistake, very busy and they didn't give you time to look.
