Food tasted reasonably good. But the world’s slowest service with very few customers in the cafe. We ordered from the cabinet. Some items were forgotten and came out in dribs and drabs. Each item required a new reminder. One item hadn’t arrived after nearly an hour, at this point we asked for a refund.

Extremely slow and inefficient service, rude staff who did not comply with covid masking rules. We went in to order some cabinet food, thinking it'd be quick to come out. The staff was very happy to take our money first ... and then told us there would be a 5 minute wait. We told them we did not need food heated. But was told that we still had to wait in line. Fine. 5 minutes turned into 10 mintues and then 20 minutes... when we confronted the staff. We were told that we were being rude. What was worse, she did not even wear a mask. Would never return to that place again unless management improves staff efficiency, attitude and hygiene standards.

Absolutely horrible, great for the kids but then again some kids get away with wearing no socks while others are made to pay, for them no staff monitoring. Was busy Easter weekend but still. Got to the counter to be told no chips, very little cabinet food and no menu. Coffee took over 40minutes to arrive in takeaway cups very small in fact and told they ran out of cups had to hunt for teaspoons. To top it off coffee stone cold.

Thank you so much for making our daughters birthday so very special, the kids played and played while the adults had the chance to sit & relax, and you guys even printed off pictures from her fav book as that was our theme. Thank you so much! Anna x

We visited today. We had coffee, the cinnamon scroll and the cheese scone. Both were lovely. The staff were friendly, professional and the service was great. We noticed it was quieter than normal but put that down to the crazy times. We feel for businesses like this. We have witnessed such nastiness, rudeness and overall impatience and intolerance from customers. Have some compassion for small businesses just struggling to operate in less than ideal situations. They have rules to follow. They are trying their best. Be kind. Just be kind.

Birds inside with patches of feces on the table. Server refuses to wear a mask. Food takes a long time to be served and then very rude service with mistakes and miscommunication between staff. When food did arrive half if it was burnt. Terrible experience will not be returning. On a positive side, the toilets were very nice and really well maintained. Also they have a playground (that you need to pay for).

We went to harbour street collective cafe because of the indoor playground and the food looked nice in the case. We paid for the kids to play in the playground but were not told they needed socks. A staff member pointed this out later. As it was a warm day they were in sandals. You can purchase socks but luckily had some spare ones in the car. The kids liked the play area and it is hard to find good indoor play areas these days We waited over half an hour for food to come. Our order was bumbled 3 times. They over sold some food and they were clearing a back log of orders. They had sold us something they couldn't give us. I went up to reorder and had to re-queue in a long line to order. I reordered something off the menu and the staff member said they would cover the difference if there was any. Another server said she didn't have the authority to do that. So I needed to choose something else. So re-queued again to reorder. The kitchen was closed as the chef was gone and a lot of the good case food gone by this stage (1pm). When the rest of the food came, the pies were burnt or soggy and one of them was the wrong flavour. Our cake also never arrived. I re-queued again to sort that. They did comp that since it was left off the order. I really wanted to like the place but I spent most of our time there sorting out our bumbled order so couldn't really enjoy the experience. It also got really hot in the play area even though it wasn't that hot of a day. It was much cooler in the front part of the cafe. I didn't use the facilities but hubby said they were very clean.

The cafe itself was nice and quirky but the food was soaked in oil to the point where I had to ring out my hashbrown, mushrooms and spinach. Unfortunate but the cafe itself was cool
