★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that the food was disgusting. I bought a kids burger meal for my 3 year old and knowng my daughter loves burgers. She didn't like this one I took a bite from it and had to spit it out. I'm not a fussy eater either!! I was horrified. My main meal were the seared scallops. I honestly was off seafood for a week after two days of food poisoning. I was very disappointed. Only positive of the evening was the customer service hence the one star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Denny’ on Sunday night 9.15pm for dessert and their one of the waitresses offered me to sit on baby seat and customers on other table made fun of me. Felt so embarrassed.
If she doesn’t want to do her job she should be there .awful service ever . If there was a choice to give - 1 I will give her ——————-0

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food excellent! Have maintained the charm of the past. What other place has refills of excellent FILTER coffee, plus can actually hear conversations, as music turned down low. Prices very affordable! Please do not change or "remodel". We love you the way you are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Denny's Chch has been my go-to casual restaurant in Christchurch since I first stepped foot in it. ?
The food has consistently been very good and inexpensive. I especially enjoy the large variety of vegetarian options, and have personally fallen in love with the Veggie Skillet.
Most of the staff are very friendly, however I have found some of the waitresses to be quite rude. At my last visit, my partner and I waited for 15 minutes to be given water after ordering, which seemed a bit excessive considering that the restaurant was not very crowded.
Either way, Denny's has great food, great curly fries and is conveniently located off Moorhouse. Always worth a visit for a good lazy lunch ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worse Dennys I have ever been to in my life. I ordered the grand slam omelet as i always do. What I got was scrambled eggs of sort, on top of the mix. The plate spattered with fat. No taste at all. They served us and only came back to give us the drink and food. Didn't ask how the food was or anything. Dad got a open steak sandwich with the smallest steak ever. Even the people next to had wait for service while the staff finished talking about the night before. Plus processed cheese not real cheese. Wow!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Denny's for a birthday lunch today. Drove into a car park straight away. Generally it's really good for parking here, but can get busy at times. Would recommend turning up prior to peak times, if you want to avoid the crowds & have the choice of a park.
One of our group member's is celebrating a birthday today, so the conditions for one free birthday meal are:
Must be with at least one paying customer and dining on your birthday.
The free Birthday meal must be equal to or less than the paying customer’s meal and is for one menu item only. Don't forget to tell the birthday person to bring a photo ID along e.g. drivers licence.
We were given attentive, friendly, polite and accommodating service. The waitresses were fantastic.
Our orders included Satay roll, Chicken Fettuccine & Fettuccine Carbonara, with extras ordered - a side of fries and a monkey bowl of sauce.
All of our meals were cooked really nicely and came out within a short space of time. The cleanliness of the utensils has definitely improved since our last visit.
The only thing that now needs more attention is the glasses e.g. one glass had specks of food stuck to the outside of the glass. Other than that, a really enjoyable meal & occasion, sitting at a table with the beautiful sun beaming down. What more could you ask for.
To top off the day, I now just need an afternoon nap ?. Thank you Denny's, Christchurch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the t-bone surf and turf with chips and salad. They delivered it with roast potatoes and asparagus which was actually really nice and I did enjoy it. The steak was cooked well I ordered medium rare but my only complaint would be that it came out in a cast iron hot plate which meant that the steak kept cooking so by the time I finished it it was pretty much well done. But still was a really nice steak. The service was fast and good and kept making their way back to your table to check if you needed alse lots so that is good. So all round a great experience for my first time at a Dennys. Thanks to the team.
