★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rudest Nurse on the planet. Scoffed at me for a torn ligament in my finger. She asked me what my job was, I explained I had 2 jobs then she yelled at me asking which one to put down?? She also was extremely rude and aggressive in telling me I could only be seen for one issue at a time. I also saw one of the doctors to get my inhaler for asthma. Only prescribed symbicort (Large push by pharmaceutical reps for sales) However this isn't an approved short term bronchial dialator with either Medsafe or the FDA. I am prone to asthma attacks in sport, which my record says. However his reasoning was "We are just pushing these ones at the moment." I explained and he still refused to prescribe me medication that would help.
This places is underfunded. Can not operate proficiently as an after hours and GP at once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been a client of Moorhouse medical cantre for over 15 years. Personally I can't rate them high enough. All staff treat me very well and have great consideration of my needs. Dr Vithal who I have had for many years now has always had my best interest at heart no matter what I'm seeing him for. He tells me the hard honest truth in such a good way. He is careing, honest and professional. That's the doctor I need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was sent here after an xray as childs bone is broken and needed a cast. Walked out with a 3 dollar sling that wasn't even the right size, no cast and charged 55 dollars even though should have been covered under ACC. Would never have chosen this dr but regular dr doesn't do casting as recommended by dr who did xrays so sent us here. No treatment, no prescription for painkillers, just left a child untreated and charged full price for it. Despicable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give ZERO if there was a option, came in on 8th June around 8:30am had a very nasty cough and sore throat couldn't sleep well previous night. I was a walk in patient so was told to wait in the car so I did. Around 8:50am get a call from the nurse they can't see me because they are at maximum capacity of 12 people only one doctor. Plus my case wasn't serious I was told to go somewhere else or come back tomorrow with out any guarantee if i will be seen. So basically the 12 patients will be seen in between 8am to 5pm. Very disappointing and I'm enrolled over here for such a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst, poorest customer service I ever have experienced in Christchurch. Reception is really rude and unfriendly, admin tried to take $50 as cancellation fee even though I cancelled my appointment within free cancellation period so I had to lodge a dispute through my bank to get a full refund. Please don't go to this horrible place unless you want yourself to be treated as $$ not a customer/patient. No wonder it has plenty of bad reviews.

The nurses were incredibly friendly and very professional.
I then waited a while longer to see a doctor. The Doctor was very professional, understanding and very informative. 10/10 service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Moorhouse medical last night after having an appointment at the after hours GP clinic. I paid $8- at the GP clinic and the doctor called me and told me to go to Moorhouse. I got to Moorhouse and was seen by a lovely nurse, and was in to see the doctor quite quickly. Dr Henley was fantastic - kind, listened, didn't rush, and had a good sense of humor. Can't fault the care I received.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Received a high level of care for a broken bone. The centre took care of it quickly. Was no problem for reception, being a casual walk-in patient, price was the same as seeing your regular GP. The practice has exceptional nurses who help triage patients. Their is a dedicated fracture clinic and tertiary level radiology department.
