I remember going a few years ago and they were always on point…
I hope they take this positive criticism and step up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner rude threatening a bad review for the business I work at in response to getting a 1star even though not a customer at this point. risoles are a cheap patte with poor quality batter. Also the last time I visited I had a raw fish off to the point it cleared a whole room I rang up to complain but was told it was from fresh fish off the truck that day I live out of town 15min (didn't open it till home) so didn't follow it up at the time, I wanted to see it had gotten better again and left with this experience. I had a bad day I was not the most polite customer but was still civil will not be going back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow fresh as fish and yummy as chips that were wonderfully hot and enjoyed by us all right outside the shop ? Unfortunately it closed for a period of time and there were quite a few disappointed people who had to wait a couply hours for it to reopen. Lucky we just made it here to order just before they closed ? thanks to the cook for a mean as feed and the young girl for a lovely service...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave this fish and chips shop a 5 star based on other fish and chip shops. The service was great and efficient, the shop was packed so we thought we would be waiting for ages but we honestly must of waited 10-15min. The atmosphere was just like your old school grass roots fish and chips shop like back in the day, which I really like. And as far as the food goes, it was fresh, crispy, the chips had great texture and perfect amount of salt for our liking. And so much I had to finish it for lunch.
