Audrey Gale park is an off leash dog park for us. It definitely should not be a disc golf park. The humans who play the game are mostly curtious but there are some who take over the whole park. Esp if there are a number of players. The intrusion of a human sport like that on a dog recreation area is not acceptable.

Merrilands domain is a beautiful little spot. Take the dog, a few short tracks in bush to the top field. The river runs through it. BBQ'S can be had, picnic tables, room for lots of people, gran place to relax.

Great resource, awesome park! Although some guy yelled at my son today for climbing on one of the goals - definitely a fair enough request! But with a bit of cheek since the course is apparently in your name.... Do you think that yelling at someone else's kid and ordering them around is ok? Perhaps you could have asked us nicely instead? Maybe introduce yourself first? Or even explained why you were concerned? Was it really necessary to come back and confront me minutes later? All I did was ask you nicely for you to look after your own kids, instead of yelling at mine? I wasn't trying to be smart, I was serious... That's why I started by saying, "With all respect mate..." Pro tips: + Instead of creating a big drama next time, just try, "Excuse me mate, do you mind hopping down off the goals, I'm worried you could hurt yourself"... That's probably how the 7 year old you were yelling it would do it. + I'm sure you would love to attract people to the sport of frisby golf.. try creating a positive, friendly environment! + You don't hold any liability when it comes to health and safety, for other's actions in public places - so don't put that stress on yourself! Please don't take this too seriously.. I'm a friendly guy and you probably are too.. maybe next time you can show us that :+)
