Good way to explore the outer part of the gardens. Solid walking shoes a must as some of the course is sloped

Very fun way to spend a couple hours in Queenstown! My wife and I played after breakfast nearby. We are complete novices but everyone we encountered was friendly and encouraging. There are several places to rent (or "hire" as they say in New Zealand) some discs in town if you don't have your own, which is what we did being new to the game. Just watch out for the lake on the 1st couple holes! My competitive nature had me throwing the disc as hard as possible and I lost one to Lake Wakatipu...

Fantastic disc golf course. So good

Beautiful spot and awesome council built activity, free for all to use. However the course design is rough. It goes from open fairways in the first few holes with a few obstacles, to just shooting wildly through tree's hoping it gets through.

Really fun disc golf course! It's through the gardens so the views are phenomenal. For the most part, the holes are pretty short so they are very accessible even for beginners. Totally free if you have your own disc. If not there are stores in the area where you can rent them, including the nearby ice rink.

Very cool place for walk, disk golf or just little siesta.

We enjoyed this game! The ice rink hires frisbees but because they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays we then walked into town and to the i-site & got ours from them. This game is played under the well spaced out mature trees and makes an excellent hot weather activity. We found it a load of laughs with our low skill levels but it would be even more challenging on a windy day. Great for gentle exercise. Look for the marked starting point on lawn 7 and work your way around the peninsula. Unfortunately this site is not suitable for those in wheelchairs - but there's beautiful gardens right next to the course for them to enjoy whilst you are playing

A very scenic course worth the walk. The course is very technical with heaps of obstacles. Would not recommend the course to newbies or beginners. Apart from that, a nice layout which takes you around the full park. Good tee pads and most chains are visible from the tee. A good mix of par 3 and 4 holes.
