★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband Peter passed away recently and the picture casket Distinct Funerals made for him was outstanding, every little detail Peter wanted was on it, and it told his story. I was amazed with the memory table they had put together and all the extra framed photosgraphs that had been added by Anneke and her team. But it is the genuine compassion and care that make Anneke and her team so very special, and I cannot thank them enough for giving Peter the perfect send off he wanted

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely helpful serivce, went above and beyound to support us durning the xmas, new year break. With the lost of Dad and the hoiladay period this added to the stress. I was lucky to find personal caring staff who listened to us to give Dad the best send off possible. Beauiful range of caskets going to book my own.
Sadly we have had a lot of loss in our family over the last few years and used many different serivces in a range of areas, distinct funerals were the best by far, if you are looking for a caring serivce that will listen to your needs and support you ever step of the way, this is the place.

We went in to see her a couple of days before my mm passed away(we knew) to discuss options.
My mum passed away in Invercargill and wanted to be buried in Christchurch with dad.
She said we could do as little or as much as we wanted.
When mum went she picked her up and prepared her and did a wonderful job.
She came out and spent a bit of time with us sorting out all the details
She organised the live stream for the service, did a wonderful tribute sideshow of mums life for the service
Did a tribute beautiful display board for the service and graveside
Organised with the cemetery in Christchurch for the burial.
We made our own coffin, transported, my mum to Christchurch and was able to stop along the way so relative could say farewell
We also did the burial and graveside service
The pricing was very good as well.
All this made for a very special farewell for our mum.
Thank you so much Distinct Funerals

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time we have used distinct funerals. Two years ago for my father and recently for my mother. The staff are kind and friendly and responsive to your wishes. They make the process easy and provide an individualized service. There are many choices to decorate caskets. We had a small private funeral and we were able to use their viewing building in Eye street for the service. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable during the whole process.
