★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty stoked with my cheap buys today. Got a heap of $2 face masks that had some awesome designs on them. Cheaper than everywhere else, and cotton made so, good quality for the price. Dollar king always comes through when you need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the two local dollar stores in Whakatane. Dollar King has a huge array of cheap/plastic stuff at reasonable prices, it is quite entertaining to just browse for hidden delights. Kids have a ball in the toy aisles. They have seasonal stuff, like xmas tat, and everything else like giftware & party stuff (cards, boxes, bags, wrapping paper, candles, decorations, stuff for goodie bags, etc), a huge array of costumes, kitchenware & accessories, toys & jokes (great stocking fillers), range of cheap & cheerful cosmetics/toiletries, baby stuff, hats & socks, art/craft & stationary supplies, incense, wool/yarn, tools of dubious quality, and all kind of other knick-knacks. Don't expect great quality but you'll find something entertaining in here :)
