★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Limped in to Twizel on a bike hemorrhaging spokes 1 day in to the A2O. The staff at Jake's were great to deal with and the bike mechanic super knowledgeable and helpful. They managed to get me back on the road In less than 2 hours. Absolutely anything you could need is also in the store and managed to pick up a few items we needed. My partner commented "this is the kind of store I would open if I could". Can't rate them highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jake's is worth a visit to Twizel - it has such an enormous range of stock. We've visited a couple of times for bike related things but it also has a wonderful selection of hardware, homeware, gardening etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated in Twizel, an " average" size town , this is a hardware store with bells on ! I went there to check it out, and it surprised with its wide range of stock. Has thusfar come up with all my requirements, hence the five stars . . .
