★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our wedding catered by Dos Locos and received nothing but compliments. The owner, Yoana, is very friendly and I’ve chatted with her a couple of times. I had a chicken taco from their food truck today and it was really good! If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food in Palmy, look no further than these guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really lovely service but don't bother with the Nachos, they are watery, bland and over priced. The churros are okay but a bit underwhelming, similar to the ones you would get from Domino's. Not a bad food cart but I wouldn't say it was anything special either.

Need to work on having normal work hours before they even get considered as a food option... went to noodle canteen instead cause those guys always open wit good food when you need it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was lovely, nice people running the food truck in Paraparaumu today. Price was good too.
But the food was not good. Oil leaked out of the vegi taco and left a pool of oil in my hands. It was mostly cabbage and sour cream all I could taste. Vegis didn't taste like anything. The fish taco was also flavourless. Almost like frozen fish cooked and placed right at the bottom. Had to eat through the cabbage and sour cream to even see it.
Definitely not very mexican at all. No salsa, just cabbage avocado dressing and sour cream is pretty much 90% of the tacos.
I'll definitely skip the tacos next time ?
And the jalapeno poppers were terrible. One bite into it and oil ran down my throat. And the jalapeno it self didn't taste like anything. The only flavor was the sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best food trucks I've had the pleasure of dining at. Tasty food at reasonable prices and the people who run it are lovely. If you like a bit of heat the jalapeño poppers are great and if you like a bit more insanity they have a selection of sauces up to and including ghost pepper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother and I went for lunch. We both shared some churros and usually whenever I get churros from anywhere they're floppy and soft, but these ones were nice, crispy and exactly how I imagined churros to be when I was a kid, loved em.
I also ordered a beef quesadilla and the meat was so juicy and tender, the cheese was a perfect consistency and it tasted super fresh. My mum ordered a pork taco but she lost the taco in the pile of toppings haha
We'll defs be trying this place again next time we're in palmy. We'll bring dad too ?
