Beautiful but personally I find the Milford Sound more beautiful.

Better then Milford sound. Mabye it's less dramatic, but the vibe, the experience and the lack of humans, make it one of the best places in NZ.

Got on a 1 night cruise journey with Real Journey without expecting what to see. I first thought it's just another ferry ride. I was wrong as soon as I came to encounter some serious quietness that I've never been in my life. I loved the moment captain stopped the engine, he wanted us to stop taking photos and no talking, no one should make any noise, just stop doing anything and watch everything surrounding us for 20mins. We saw how the fog forming from the trees in the forest, then started drizzling, everyone stayed on the deck admiring this peaceful forest, hearing the dance of the rain droplets on the water. It was the most spectacular thing I did on this trip. The nature taught us so many things even in 20mins! We also encountered some dolphins swimming along which added up another remarkable trip of my life.

Awesome and wonderful to enjoyed the doubtful sound cruises!!!! Amazing scenery is beautiful beyond description.

Positively stunning ride to the mouth of doubtful sound. Well worth the visit. The ferry, bus and ferry were excellent. We took a Real Journeys day trip and were pleased with the overall experience.

We did a day cruise down to the entrance to the Tasman and down some of the channels running off the main sound. Absolutely amazing experience, the scenery was spectacular and we were lucky enough to see lots of seals and crested penguins which was amazing. We did a Real NZ cruise for $199pp which you get half price if you live in southland like we do!
