★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first my wife and I were skeptical to book Driver Queenstown with Jonny because there was only one other review and his pricing was much better than other drivers but we’re so glad we did.
We had an awesome day celebrating our honeymoon going around to different wineries in the Gibbston Valley and Jonny couldn’t have been more professional, fun, friendly and an all around great person.
I would highly recommend Jonny for any of your private driver needs around the Queenstown area because you’ll have a great time and he’ll charge you a fair price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I used Jonny as a driver earlier this year to visit some of the wineries outside of Queenstown.
Jonny was great from the start...he communicated promptly and had a suggested itinerary for us. My friend had been to the region before and we had quite a few changes we requested to visit some new places she hadn't been to before. Jonny was very flexible and helpful in giving us feedback and planning a smooth day. He also made us lunch reservations at a fantastic restaurant/winery that I'm not sure we would have sought out on our own.
Jonny has a nice luxury car, had plenty of water for us, and was good about pointing out various sights along the drive for us.
My friend and I had a great time being driven by Jonny and I would highly recommend him to anyone that visits the area.
The only other thing I would mention is that if you are visiting the area, Ubers and Taxis were not great out near the wineries, so it would be key to hire a driver for the day if you want to visit mutliple wineries and don't want to wait 20 minutes for a taxi or uber to get out to you.

He not only planned an awesome personalised itinerary for the day around what we wanted to do, he was also very flexible and altered the plan to accommodate our delayed flight. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi there! We had an excellent experience with John when we visited Queenstown a few months ago. He was punctual, professional and very knowledgable about the different wineries. It was a great experience and much better than those large group tours where you don't have much choice in which wineries you stop at and how long you spend there.

He helped us plan a full day experience (he booked everything for us) — we visited Arrowtown, 3 wineries and had an incredible lunch at Amisfield (all just outside of Queenstown). He was extremely communicative through the planning, informative, and lots of fun! Highly recommend using Jonny as a private driver for any of your Queenstown needs!

Johnny responded to emails almost instantly with great suggestions and offering thoughts. He was 15 minutes early to the hotel and was accommodating, professional, and great company. Johnny was really flexible throughout the day and really cared about us making the most of it. Put it this way, at the end we both gave him a big hug. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently visited Queenstown and used John Yates for our airport transfers as well as days out as Mum isn't very mobile. Jonny was always on time, very efficient, informative and very, very kind with my mother. We managed to make the most of our time with the most scenic drives whilst seeing and doing the things we wanted to see and do. His recommendations for lunch and wine tasting were spot on. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in the future.
