★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the small things that make all the difference. At the Dunedin Holiday Park the proprietors had thought of those little things that make life much easier when camping. This was most obvious in the kitchen but was on show everywhere. There are big fridges for storing food, a pile of spare plates and utensils anyone could use, and even washing-up supplies as well.
This much was offered without much ado. The absence of overbearing notices was a sign that the campers could be trusted to look after the place - something people seemed willing to go along with. The staff were easy to find and always helpful.
We opted for a tent site in an unkempt part of the grounds, rather than the more regimented area. Something for everyone.
I'm looking forward to staying again sometime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic stay with 3 adults and 5 kids between 5 and 12. Clean, friendly, great bbq and playground. Right next to beach and ice skating rink. Definitely recommend and we will be happy to be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this place as it was near the beach but there is no beach access, gates were locked. We had a BBQ and none of the lights were working, so couldn't see what we were doing. The wifi is very slow and keeps dropping out. Quirky place with nice staff though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great quirky camp ground. Clean and tidy. Showers & toilets warm & music playing in them as well. Kitchens, big & well used by the smells of bacon cooking, wafting out. 2 min walk to beach. Shame the weather wasn't a bit better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here at non-powered site for 1 night around 2 years ago. The facilities were clean. Staffs were friendly and helpful. If visitor can use kitchen before 7AM it'd be great since I usually get up early.

Friendly staff.
Lots of cute and interesting outdoor decoration.
The showers are well tiled, tons of hot water and... HEATED FLOOR!
It would be 5 star if there were gated access.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ there were mixed reviews on this place. we loved it. very friendly staff. free showers. excellent facilities although the stove ovens in the kitchen were below average really need up grading. excellent family camp ground. a short walk to the beach. its an older facility but suited our needs, it was quite busy on th he school holidays. we would stay again. recommended.
