★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for a break on our way to Turangi . Went for a walk around the edge of the dam and decided to stay the night . Got toilets , recycling bins and rubbish bins , BBQ area. Reasonably good walking area , not that long of a walk . Got 2 showers on site but unfortunately where closed due to shortage of water . DOG friendly must be on a leash. All year around surface for front wheel drive motorhomes , provided common sense is used . PS great Wi-Fi and TV reception.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot to stay. Toilets were nice and clean. Showers unfortunately out of order. So much space for the little ones to run around. Gorgeous place for kayaking and waking up to the birds singing and the ducks spashing was bliss.
Definitely keen to go again next summer
