About Huka Honey Hive
We’re proud to only stock NZ-made honey – and the largest range of manuka and honey products in all of New Zealand. Part of what makes us special is that we know each of our beekeepers personally, sharing with our visitors their amazing work and the intriguing stories behind the honey they produce.
Wherever we can, all of our products are sourced from Aotearoa. When we acquire products outside of NZ, we trace every single one of our suppliers to their roots, ensuring they are 100% ethically-sourced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brilliant shop, so tidy, clean, filled with interesting and amazingly good products. Staffed by people who enjoy their job and know retail. We came across it by accident but we will definitely go back again on purpose!! So many things to learn and so many fantastic items to try. We shared some of our goodies with friends and family and I'll be buying some of them on line now that we have had them once!! Great experience. It also has a learning area and play area for kids, couldn't ask for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cool place !! Highly recommend adding it to your travel plans. They have live bees inside for the kids to look at and a kids area with things to learn about bees or toys to play with. They also have a range of skin care and alcohol all honey infused.

It has all sorts of honey and honey related products ?, including beauty products, mead ?, juices, chutneys, bees wax candles, and more ?
They have a little coffee shop with great coffee ☕ and ice cream ?
There is also a live demonstrations of how they extract the honey ? as well as honey tasting ?. There were dark and light honeys with interesting blends like with lavender. I bought a honey and lemon blend ?? You can taste the goodness ?
